Where do Install this plugin?

Open the Joomla dashboard and go to:

Jooomla 3: Extensions > Manage > Install > Upload Package File > Then Upload & Install The Joomla Extension (Plugin).

Jooomla 4: System > Install > Extensions > Upload Package File > Then Upload & Install The Joomla Extension (Plugin).

How do activate the plugin?
Open the Joomla dashboard and go to: Plugins to search and enable the plugin "System - [MD] Sentry for Joomla".
How Do I Set Up The Sentry Settings?
In the Plugin, You'll need to add the DSN of the Sentry.io project. On Sentry.io go to your project and click on the gear (Settings), then click on "client Keys (DSN)" and copy the full DSN link to your DSN field link on the Joomla plugin.
What does each Toggle Setting/Option do?
  • JavaScript Error Detection: This will detect the errors from the client on the users browsers.
  • PHP Error Detection: This will detect errors inside PHP through Joomla!
  • Test JavaScript Error: This will send a test error in JavaScript to the frontend of the website once. After it has been sent it will switch to Off.
  • Test PHP Error: This will send a test error in PHP to the frontend of the website once. After it has been sent it will switch to Off.
